Reading Together to Celebrate Easter as a family

Easter is approaching, and it’s one of our favorite days! This is the perfect occasion to spend some extra time reading with your preschooler.
To build anticipation for the Easter holiday, borrow or purchase a few new titles and have your child make a stack of their favorite books as well as new ones that they are excited to read. Since reading aloud with your child has so many benefits, it’s worth making Easter Sunday a day of reading in your home.
Easter activities often are full of egg hunts, candy, and excitement, so adding a reading break into the day can give your littles some much needed downtime.
We’ve compiled a list of some of the best-loved Easter classics in our house. In addition, here are some new and notable children’s Easter books, that are suitable for all ages, but particularly preschoolers will love.
